A leading Australian film crew shot a 35 millimetre short film at the old Geelong Gaol in March 2005.
Producer Jason Byrne and writer director Josh Whiteman are making a short film about prison interment and Geelong's historic gaol is playing a starring a role.
Josh Whiteman, who is making his debut as a director on One Minute, has previously worked with legendary Sydney based director Alex Proyas, who is responsible for major features such as Dark City and I, Robot starring Will Smith.
The film One Minute is sponsored by the Reach Foundation and all the crew, which includes AFI award winners, have donated their time to the project.
The crew will shoot overnight at the gaol overnight, working from sundown until early morning. One Minute will air on television and will be screened at Film Festivals in Australia and overseas.
